Meet the Author Event at Footscray Library - Tue 21 September

Jim McIntyre is a local Williamstown writer and when we published his book Nikolai the Perfect last year, we set up a number of Meet the Author events, many of which were cancelled or postponed.

We are excited to have set a new date for his appearance at Footscray Library on the evening of Tuesday 21 September, starting at 7pm and we hope you can join us.

Jim will be in conversation with his publisher Jen Hutchison, discussing the writing process, his novel which took a mere 30 years to complete, the ecstasy of winning runner up to Jane Harper's The Dry in the 2015 Vic Premier's Unpublished Manuscript Awards and the journey to getting his debut novel published.
