Jen Hutchison's Legacy - her Masters thesis - Once Upon a Perfect Family

Two days after her cancer diagnosis, Jen submitted her Masters thesis “An Autoethnographic Epistolary Study’ and graduated RMIT’s Master in Writing & Publishing, with Distinction. It is her magnum opus and writing it caused her untold nightmares. She didn't shy away from it. It needed to be written.

It was her wish that this thesis be read widely, as it shines a light on the culture of silence surrounding abuse within families, and the damaging effect it has on all connected to it.
